Dress Your Home is a Colleyville-based interior design studio led by Veronica Eckhardt. Over thirty years of practice — built in Northern California, now serving DFW homeowners shaping spaces that feel collected, calm, and unmistakably their own.
Good design is quiet. It doesn't announce itself — it simply works. Our process is unhurried and considered, because the homes we love most are the ones that feel lived-in from the first day and more like home every year that follows.
We work closely with each client, listening first and recommending later. The goal is never a room that photographs well once — it's a home that feels right every morning.
The best design decisions come from knowing how a family actually lives. Every project starts with conversation, not a concept board.
Timeless rooms are made by what you leave out as much as what you put in. We err toward restraint, always.
A project isn't done when the furniture arrives. It's done when the lighting, styling, and final details feel effortless.
Veronica Eckhardt has been working as an interior designer for over three decades. She built a successful interior design practice in Northern California, and is now in her sixth year carrying on that tradition here in the Southlake area of Texas. With this wealth of knowledge, she helps her clients create a home, not just a house — a priority she takes seriously.
Veronica spent five years interning under the president of the Interior Design Society for the entire United States. After this training, she ventured out on her own. Her prices are fair and she works hands-on. She is not a designer who hands over a vision board and then disappears — she follows the project all the way to completion.
She loves what she does, and feels very blessed that she gets to spend her work days doing something she enjoys. Veronica is not a signature designer. She spends time upfront learning who the client is and creating a home just for them. She is versatile, comfortable across styles, and known by her clients for being decisive, hard-working, and genuinely fun to work with.
Jenn is an emerging interior designer with a natural eye for creating warm and inviting spaces. After a career in teaching, raising her three children, and being a dedicated volunteer in her children's schools, she made the decision to pursue a career in interior design.
Jenn has always enjoyed planning and executing events, including banquets for NCL, Young Life, and local community organizations. When the opportunity arose to intern with Veronica and gain hands-on interior design experience, she eagerly embraced it. Her enthusiasm and strong work ethic make her a valuable asset to the team.
With a lifelong interest in design, she has personally designed and built several homes — an experience that deepens her appreciation for thoughtful, functional, and beautiful spaces. Outside of work, you can find her exercising, volunteering in the community, mentoring in YMSL, involved in Bible studies, and enjoying time with friends and family.
Veronica is not a signature designer. She listens first, then shapes a home for the client — comfortable across a wide range of styles, never imposing one.
