Interior design in Highland Park.

Quiet, careful design for Highland Park's enduring homes.

Highland Park is where homes are kept rather than churned. Most properties have been in their families for decades, and most renovations are about extending a home's life by another generation rather than reinventing it for resale. We design with that long view.

A Highland Park renovation done well is invisible to the outside but unmistakable to the people who live in the home. The kitchen still feels right with the original 1936 millwork down the hall. The new primary suite reads as though it had always been there. The new wallpaper looks like it was selected by someone who knew the family.

How we work in Highland Park.

Working in Highland Park requires a particular kind of restraint. We've spent thirty years learning how to update a home without erasing it. The result is the kind of work that gets passed down with the deed.

Frequently Asked

Working with us in Highland Park.

Do you take projects in Highland Park?
Yes — we work in Highland Park regularly. Almost all of our HP work is renovation rather than ground-up new construction.
What types of projects do you take on in Highland Park?
Renovations on established Highland Park homes, kitchen and bath updates, primary suite renewals, and refresh projects. We work with the kind of restraint these homes deserve.
How do you charge?
Our fees are tailored to the scope of each project. We typically structure engagements as a flat design fee combined with a transparent furniture and procurement model. We're happy to walk through pricing in our first conversation — there's nothing hidden, and we don't believe in surprise invoices.
How long does an interior design project take?
Whole-home selections for a custom build typically run nine to fifteen months. Major renovations are three to six months. A focused refresh — one or two rooms with new furnishings and styling — can wrap in six to ten weeks. Anyone promising significantly faster than these ranges is probably skipping a phase.
What's your design style?
We don't have a signature style we impose on every project. Veronica is comfortable across a wide range — California Casual, Sophisticated Farmhouse, Italian Countryside, Modern with a Soft Edge, and several others. The thread running through all our work is restraint, warmth, and the goal of making rooms that age well.
Do you offer virtual consultations or only in person?
We offer both. The initial conversation is often a phone or video call. Most of the design work after that involves real on-site visits — measuring, walking the space, reviewing materials in real light. Virtual is a complement, not a replacement, for the project's important moments.
