Dress Your Home is based in Colleyville. Veronica Eckhardt founded it in 1993, built her practice in Northern California and then brought it here, so for clients in town the designer is local, and site visits during a renovation are a short trip across town.

This project is an established home, not a new build, and that changes the order of the work. Before anything is decorated, it is worth asking whether each room is doing the right job. Here, the answer moved the dining room and produced a wine room. Then the work can run in phases, as it has in this house, with more planned after the first rooms were done.
